COMPANY PROFILE

Globe Bio-Medicals was established in 1992. The promoters of the company include:

Mr. Faisal Kapadi (B.A, D.A.M.) started his career in 1989 marketing Cook Products. Cook, till then an unknown name in India, was within a short span of six months, firmly entrenched as a name to be reckoned with, and captured a significant part of the consumables market as a direct result of the efforts of Mr.Faisal Kapadi.

Till the late 1980s India was a closed market and lagged far behind in Medical Technology as compared to the Developed Countries. The licensing rules and monopolistic policies of the Indian Government denied the Indian people access to modern technology.

In 1992, Mr.Faisal Kapadi started Globe Bio-Medicals with the aim of making available the latest technologies and equipment which Western Medical Technology had to offer, to the Indian Sub-continent, reaching the remotest corners of Rural India. Hence started with Cook products.

In 2002, GBM introduced revolutionary Occlusion devices manufactured in China in the Indian market. Till then occlusion devices was monopolized by American devices. GBM worked with many interventional cardiologists to make these devices a great success. This aided a lot of poor patients to undergo such procedures which till then was not affordable because of prohibitive costs of American devices. As on today deployment of occlusion devices through non invasive procedure has taken over the old procedure of invasive surgery.

With the establishment of Branch Offices and Product Promotion Partners in various parts of India, Globe Bio-Medicals are poised for steady and sustained growth.
